Sinopsis

Our protagonist, Autumn Walker, comes from a poor family. She was accepted into a prestigious college, but her asthmatic father and disabled mother could not afford the fees. They begged for someone to lend them money, and eventually, the evil village chief, Hugh March, gave in. He humiliated and tricked them into paying a high interest rate and giving up their land.
